SVAKOM and “Drop In the Bucket” are Joining Forces to Make Water Accessible
by Trista Wang
Many of us have no idea that we could save 2 million lives a year if we did nothing other than provide access to clean water, without any other medical intervention. That’s exactly what “Drop In the Bucket”-a registered international NGO has been doing since 2006, to assist community development by constructing water and sanitation facilities at schools and communities.
SVAKOM this time is joining forces with Drop in the Bucket and decided to give 10% of its sales from August 20th to August 30th to this great cause.
For SVAKOM, donating to Drop in the Bucket is a tremendous honour and the money is well spent. Drop in the Bucket does both by bringing life-saving water to communities and schools in Uganda and South Sudan as well as creating the opportunity for education, to enable children, especially girls to receive an education and realize their full potential, as they believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and that every school should have access to clean water and improved sanitation facilities in order to create an environment that is conducive to learning. It’s something that fits really well with SVAKOM's concept of social responsibility.
Currently, Drop in the Bucket has constructed or rehabilitated over 350 school water points in Uganda and South Sudan, this organization has made tangible impact and should be supported to continue its worthwhile efforts. SVAKOM renders it a great positive experience to make its contributions, the more people and communities who offer their “drops” in the bucket, the more buckets will fill up and overflow to converge into a mighty strength and make a big impact.
At some point in your life you’ve likely heard the words kink and fetish before – typically during dirty talk or, at least in the past, as a form of stigma used to make fun of someone or imply a sense of othering.
In the early 1990s, various bisexual organizations began to form, especially in the United States. However, the international day was established in 1999 at the annual conference of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA), thanks to the initiative of three bisex activists: Wendy Curry, Michael Page and Gigi Raven Wilbur.
This approval places Taiwan at the forefront of the growing movement for gay rights in Asia. Taiwan's parliament legalized same-sex marriage on Friday, an unprecedented event in Asia after the government survived a last-ditch attempt by conservatives to pass a sweetened version.
On June 28, 1969 in a pub known as Stonewall Inn located in New York, a raid was carried out by the police against the LGBT + community. This led to massive demonstrations which became the first fight for the rights of the LGBT + community.
The same week that it was known that the world's best-known lingerie firm, Victoria's Secret, stopped organizing its famous annual parade because of the lack of diversity, it has decided to take a hit.
This winter came early in Russia, the snow falling from the sky ever so graceful and elegant. The miles of white gentle covered Moscow, the city of snow, chilly yet peaceful. SVAKOM team visited Russia in this beautiful snowy season, enjoying the glowing city, with tonnes of friendly distributors, customers and lovely people from the same industry. The weather was just perfect for an indoor party to dance the chills off, so we gathered all the friends we have in Russia and held the first Fxxk Taboos party in this enchanting country.

Inferno, defined as a place or a state that resembles/suggests hell or an intense fire. Ironically, Hongkong is getting cold, we wanted to light up the night for all the LKF partiers with our fire-like energy, the best party concept (ever) and our products (of course). Throw it back to that night on the 8th of December, I believe everyone in LKF was talking about this "sex toy party" in Rula Bula.
Thankfully consent is becoming more and more of a talked-about concept nowadays. But what exactly does consent mean? And how can we establish it without ruining the moment and sounding like a robot? Consent doesn’t have to kill the mood.
Sex comes in multiple forms, shapes, and sizes. There is no one size fits all when it comes to what gets us going. As we take steps towards exploring our sexuality, likes & dislikes, the people and actions that make us bubble and burst, there can be a lot of concerns or fears.
